Antenatal care, safe deliveries, postnatal & newborn support — a calm, experienced hand through every trimester.
Fevers, infections, diabetes, BP, thyroid — practical, honest medicine for adults, seniors and the whole family.
Sree Harshitha Hospital was founded on a simple idea — that a family in Kadapa should be able to walk into one place for pregnancy care, everyday medicine and routine lab tests, and leave feeling heard.
We're a two-consultant practice by design. Dr. Challa Sree Harshitha looks after maternity and women's health. Dr. Gajjala Srikanth Reddy looks after everyday medicine and chronic care. The same doctors see you every visit — no rotating unfamiliar faces, no handing off to juniors.
We believe in transparent billing, plain-language explanations, and never prescribing more than is needed. Cashless insurance keeps hospitalisation stress-free, and our 24×7 labour room means the phone is always answered.
Care at Sree Harshitha is led by two consultants whose combined practice covers most needs an Indian family has in a year — from pregnancy and delivery to fevers, chronic disease and routine diagnostics.
Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Pregnancy journeys, safe deliveries, postpartum care and women's health — a calm, experienced voice through every trimester, from the first scan to the first feed.
Consultant General Physician
Fevers, infections, lifestyle disorders, diabetes and chronic-disease management — practical, honest medicine for adults, seniors and the whole family.
Everything you'd expect from a maternity hospital. Everything you'd expect from a general physician. And a laboratory that doesn't make you run across town.
Monthly check-ups, nutrition guidance, weight & blood-pressure tracking, scan scheduling — a thorough pregnancy guided month by month.
A 24×7 labour room with experienced obstetric support. Where a normal delivery is safe, we always aim for it — and explain every option before deciding.
Breastfeeding support, postpartum recovery, newborn check-ups & vaccination guidance — the early weeks, handled warmly.
Fevers, infections, diabetes, BP, thyroid, digestive concerns — for adults, seniors and children. Plain-language explanations, always.
CBC, sugar panels, thyroid, urine, pregnancy panels — same-day reports for most routine tests, delivered on WhatsApp if you prefer.
Separate wards for maternity and general patients. Attendant space, 24-hour nursing, clean linen — the small things that matter.
Quick, doctor-approved tips — from our maternity specialist for expecting mothers, and from our general physician for everyday wellness.
Nausea eases with 5–6 small meals through the day. Keep a plain biscuit by the bed and eat it before you get up.
400–600 mcg of folic acid through the first trimester protects the baby's spine. Set a daily phone reminder — don't skip.
Sip warm water or lemon water through the day. Cold, fizzy drinks can worsen nausea for some mothers.
First-trimester fatigue is real. Nap when you can, and aim for 8 hours at night — your body is building another human.
20–30 minutes of walking improves circulation, reduces back pain and helps you sleep. Avoid uneven roads.
Milk, curd, leafy greens, dates, jaggery — baby's bones are forming now. Take supplements as prescribed.
Left-side sleeping improves blood flow to the baby. Tuck a pillow between your knees for back comfort.
Your 18–22 week scan is crucial — it checks baby's organs and growth. Don't delay, don't skip.
By week 35 — clothes, documents, sanitary pads, baby clothes, blanket. Keep it near the door, ready.
Slow inhale for 4, exhale for 6. This same rhythm will help during labour — practise daily so it becomes automatic.
Reduced baby movements, severe headache, sudden swelling, bleeding, water leak — call us immediately, any hour.
Read about the first latch. Breastfeeding is a learned skill — we'll guide you, you're not expected to know it alone.
Simple rule — fill half your plate with vegetables or leafy greens. Rice, dal and curry share the other half.
Eggs, paneer, dal, fish, chicken or nuts — a fist-sized portion keeps hunger away and protects muscle as you age.
Pickles, papad, namkeen, bakery snacks — they add up. Aim for under 5 g salt a day if you have BP concerns.
Mango, guava, papaya, amla, bananas — seasonal Indian fruits give more nutrition per rupee than imported ones.
Fever over 39°C, lasting more than 3 days, breathing trouble, or a rash — come in. Don't self-medicate antibiotics.
For a mild cold, warm water with ginger, tulsi and honey helps. Rest is the rest of the medicine.
Plain paracetamol handles most fevers. Avoid combination cold tablets unless prescribed — less is often more.
Cover your cough, use a mask at home for 2–3 days. Most spread happens in the first week.
Diabetes — fasting sugar plus HbA1c every 3 months. BP — weekly at home. Trends matter more than one reading.
A post-dinner walk drops blood sugar more than the same walk before dinner. It's the easiest, free medicine.
Even if you feel fine. BP and sugar medicines work silently — stopping them undoes months of control in days.
Mix millets or red rice 2–3 days a week. Pair rice with dal, sabzi and curd to slow sugar release.
Vitamin D deficiency is common. Ten minutes on arms, ten on the back — between 8 and 10 AM is ideal.
Immunity rebuilds during deep sleep. Less than 6 hours for even a few nights weakens how you fight infection.
Gut-friendly bacteria equal stronger immunity. A bowl of homemade curd daily beats most expensive probiotics.
Chronic worry reduces immune-cell activity. Even 10 minutes of pranayama or prayer moves the needle.

Mothers and newborns have their own quiet wing, not mixed with general patients. Peaceful recovery, privacy assured.

Emergency or labour, day or night — the doctor is a phone call away. We answer, we don't route through menus.
My delivery was smoother than I could have imagined. Doctor madam explained every step, and the nurses stayed with me through the night. It felt like home, not a hospital.
I brought my father for chronic BP and diabetes. The doctor took thirty minutes to understand his whole history — no unnecessary tests, clear instructions. Cashless insurance made billing easy.
Lab reports on the same day, delivered on WhatsApp. Small thing, but it saved me a second trip. This is the kind of quiet efficiency our city needs.
